Develer at the Fair: SPS Italia 2025

This year we were once again at SPS Italia, the leading trade show for automation and digital innovation serving the industrial world. Three intense days of conversations with industry professionals, idea sharing, project presentations, and plenty of new connections.
Tailor-Made Solutions for Industry 4.0
“It was interesting to hear how many companies struggle to make hardware and software work together. Being able to tackle everything as a whole, without breaking the flow between electronics and code, truly makes a difference. Our approach is still uncommon, but increasingly in demand.»
— Daniele Basile, Embedded Engineer
At the Develer booth, we showcased how hardware and software can work in harmony to make industrial machinery safer, more efficient, and smarter. We talked with visitors and companies about custom projects designed to solve specific problems and bring real value to production processes.
From UI design to embedded development, from computer vision to cloud integration, our mission remains the same: use technology to simplify complexity.
New in 2025: The Collaborative Design Workshop
«Collaborative design isn’t a trend – it’s the most effective way to avoid costly mistakes.»
— Matteo Forni, Product Designer
A new highlight this year was our free in-fair workshop, dedicated to the collaborative design of tech products.
Develer is one of the first Italian companies to promote this approach in the industrial sector, convinced that cross-team collaboration is the key to successful projects.
Titled “Design Better Products with Collaborative Design“, the workshop was led by our interaction designer Matteo Forni and attracted professionals from various industries.

During the session, we introduced tools and methods to approach the early stages of product design in a shared and structured way — helping teams make more informed decisions, avoid strategic missteps, and reduce development costs. It was a concrete opportunity to see how collaboration can become a competitive advantage in designing high-tech products.
Thanks for Stopping By
«SPS is a chance to listen to the real problems of the industry and engage with the people who will actually use what we develop. We’re heading back to Develer with clearer ideas and fresh inspiration.»
— Simone Zinanni, Develer CEO
Thanks to everyone who attended the workshop, asked us questions at the booth, or stopped by just to say hello or share an aperitivo. SPS remains an important moment for us — not just to tell our story, but to understand customer needs and find out where we can truly make a difference.
A big thank you to our marketing team and to all the Develer folks who made our presence at SPS possible: we loved being there, together.
And last but not least, a special thanks to designer Vinod Gangotra for his support and advice in designing and building the booth.
See you at the next edition!
