Addition of mechanical actuators to a sample preparer for chemical analysis, for inserting plates in the photometer section. 

Inserting the actuators required the following hardware and software operations:

• Realization of an actuator prototype, for cost evaluation and first tests;

• Modification of the existing firmware of the machine, to add the actuators management. It seemed appropriate to write this part completely in assembly, to make the most of the resources at our disposal.

• Adding several dialogs to the desktop application that controls the machine, to display the actuators' functionalities.
